My name is Amy Klatt, and I am the school nurse here at Taylor Elementary. The kids call me Nurse Amy. I want to extend a warm welcome to our new families and a welcome back to our returning families.
I am always available to help with any health-related questions or concerns you may have.
Ways to connect with me:
- Office phone: 508-997-4511, Ext. 58512
- Email: [email protected]
- ParentSquare: A great tool for sharing forms, documents, and quick communication with the Health Office
Important Reminders for Families
- Fever Policy: Children must stay home if they have a temperature of 100.0°F or higher. They may return to school only after being fever-free for at least 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication. If your student is ill, please send me or the office a message so we can document it in your child’s Aspen account.
- Illness & Symptoms: Every situation is unique. If you have questions about specific symptoms, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
- Surgery, Injury, or Physical Limitations: If your student has a surgery, injury, or condition that may affect their attendance or physical activity, please let me know so we can make any needed adjustments to support their success at school.
- Medication at School: If your student requires medication during the school day, two forms are required: All medications must be labeled with your child’s name. (For prescribed over-the-counter medications, please check with me for labeling requirements.)
- A doctor’s order
- A parent authorization form
Thank you for your understanding, cooperation, and commitment to keeping our school community healthy. Working together, we can ensure the well-being and success of every student.
Warm regards,
Nurse Amy
